52 King Long 18m BRT Buses Used in Xiamen

Annual rising passenger volume overburdens the city buses in the BRT routes, therefore, Xiamen Public Transport Group decided to replace some of old BRT buses. These 52 King Long BRT buses, following the delivery of 68 XMQ6127G city buses in January, will be used in Route K1 and Route K3.

The Group optimized the LED display screen in the front of the bus. New-generation intelligent system is used for the surveillance and management of the bus. Low-floor and large three-door designs are convenient for passengers to get on/off the bus.

The responsible person concerned told the reporter that there are 165 BRT city buses in Xiamen, including 83 12m ones and 82 18m ones, which will make greater contribution to the city.
