Vice chairman of NPC visits King Long Bus

Mr. Lu Yongxiang listened to the report from the deputy chairman of the King Long Bus about its technology development and innovation on the bus development. Besides, he also viewed the innovative products of King Long Bus which included the intelligent school bus of King Long which will show in Beijing. Mr. Lu give an affirmation on the science and technology innovation of King Long Bus and he also encourage King Long Bus should always put the " safety" bus technology research and development in the first place and continue to intensify its efforts on technical research & development and product innovation & upgrade so as to promote enterprise's competitive ability.

In the symposium, the General Manager of King Long Bus firstly introduced the development and the management situation of the enterprise. In 2011, the total sales of various King Long buses & coaches reach 25,000 units buses & coaches,with the sales of more than ￥7.6 billion (about $1.2 billion USD), up 17%. Besides, the exporting growth momentum was strong which reached nearly ￥2 billion (about $316 million USD), up 73%.

After the end of the discussion, the vice chairman Lu Yongxiang boarded King Long bus XMQ6998ASD31 and listened to the technical personnel introducing on the technical characteristics of "Wisdom King long Bus".

When he understood that King Long installed "Wisdom Operation System" on the school bus, which including with real-time GPS positioning, whole vehicle video monitoring, drive speed limitation, the identification of the number of children, identity fingerprint of the driver, driving behavior records, prevent side tumbling alarm, lane departure warning, meteorological disaster warning and emergency call support and other advanced function. The vice chairman Lu, Yongxiang nodded approvingly and said: "Applying the electronic technology and vehicle networking technologies into the bus so as to provide a complete set of safety operation system solutions which is a good way and is of great significance to improve the operation safety of the special school bus to protect Chinese school children travel safety." 

At last, when the vice chairman was ready to leave, he said to the responsible for the King Long and hoped King Long Bus would continue to work hard and play a leading role in the technology innovation ability in the design and the product details so as to shorten the distance being the international brand, to speed up the industrial upgrade and to enhance the international competition and sustainable development ability.
