Exporting achievement of King Long Bus in 2011

On January 13th, 2012, 10 units of high-end luxury models XMQ6129 King Long coaches were sailed to Kenya from Xiamen port, which valued RMB 13.37 million. It is reported that these coaches have passed the strictest CE Certificate and TUV Certificate. These coaches are equipped with night-vision warning system, panoramic viewing system, front anti-collision warning system etc to meet the requirements of customers.

The year of 2011 is an extraordinary year for Xiamen King Long Bus. According to the data provided from the Inspection and Quarantine Department, Xiamen King Long Bus exported more than 7600 units of all kinds of buses & coaches which ranked the first place among other buses enterprises in China.The following are some big events about King Long Bus in 2011.

On April 2, Malta 172 city buses export ceremony was witnessed by Austin Gate, Secretary of Transportation in Malta and Mr. Bastow in Xiamen. On April 26, 172 King Long city buses arrived in Malta port. The buses are all equipped with Euro V engines and vehicle-mounted information management system, and the total order values exceed 15 million Euros. The new public transport in Malta will start on July 3rd, and King Long buses will take one third of all vehicles.

In January-June 2011, the company exported over 3300 variety of buses, valuing more than RMB 1 billion Yuan, year-on-year rises of 100%, ranking No.1 of bus export in China bus industry. We are told that King Long’s export sales display the trend of "generally blooming, fully speeding”, buses are exported to British, Italy, France, Malta, Singapore, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Peru, Chile, Egypt etc, including orders of 174 luxurious city buses for Malta, 40 CNG suburban buses XMQ6120C for Peru, 700 light buses for Egypt. Deputy General Manager of King Long Bus Mr. Zhu, Guoqiang said, KINGLONG is able to achieve export volume of RMB 1.8 billion Yuan, which shall be the new record of China buses export.

On 25 July 2011 that Xiamen King Long Bus formally signed the agreement with SAPTCO from Saudi Arabia for 150 units of 12-meter luxury buses, with contract value of 100 million Yuan.

It is the key strategic overseas market for King Long Bus in Saudi Arabia and King Long Bus has exported the luxury buses in successive eight years since 2004, the accumulated volume of 1200 units, as the China bus builder with the most market shares there. Zhu Guoqiang, deputy general manager of King Long Bus showed that the cooperation with SAPTCO indicated the influential effect of King Long Bus on the local operators and the increasing level of King Long Bus for the internationally well-known bus builder.
 

Deputy General Manager of King Long Bus Mr. ZHU, Guoqiang pointed out: "In 2012 King Long Bus will produce the first model approved by EPA to North American market and sell in 2013, which is labeled as the last puzzle piece of global market arrangement.”
