Jun 28 , 2022

In 2018, King Long exported 10,239 buses of various types, ranking first in the industry. With these buses sold overseas, King Long has exported over 100,000 buses up to 2018, making it the first manufacturer to have exported more than 100,000 buses.

King Long has actively responded to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) of China and exported over 50,000 vehicles to countries along the route, accounting for half of its total exports. King Long has also become the Chinese bus enterprise with the most perfect market layout in the BRI as well as the favorite Chinese brand of local people. At the beginning of 2019, King Long continued its upward trend in the overseas market, and obtained batch orders successively, including orders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Samoa.

What kind of customs and cultures do the countries along the Belt and Road have? Let's embark on the journey to tour along the Belt and Road by King Long bus!

First stop: the UAE

We base our first stop in the UAE, which is also the first stop of King Long setting foot in the overseas market this year. At the beginning of 2019, King Long delivered 66 medium-sized luxury travel bus to the UAE customer, marking a brilliant start of the overseas business of King Long.

The UAE, shorted for the United Arab Emirates, was a mysterious place to many people, affected by the childhood story The Thousand and One Nights. Today, people are much more impressed by its richness and abundant oil resources. However, before oil was discovered in the 1960s, the UAE's economy had been actually underpinned by beautiful pearls. The UAE is one of the largest oil exporters in the world with abundant oil and natural gas resources. Oil has become the main source of national revenue, and the citizens there have also led a prosperous life.

But oil will be used up, and the UAE government is fully aware of it, so it began to implement the strategy of diversified economy as early as the 1980s. It can be said that tourism is one of the most vigorous industries in the UAE. Today, we will take you on a tour to the UAE, the "Pearl of the Desert".

Dubai: luxurious

There are seven emirates in the UAE, and Dubai is arguably the most famous one. If there is one word to describe Dubai, it must be luxurious.

With limited natural landscape in the desert, Dubai shows great luxury in man-made landscape. In addition to the seven-star Burj Al Arab, there are many other breath-taking attractions:

Burj Khalifa: Towering 828 meters into the clouds, Burj Khalifa is currently the world's tallest building. In the film Mission Impossible 4, Tom Cruise astonishes the audience by climbing Burj Khalifa bare-handed. It takes only 60 seconds to get to the 124th floor by the world's fastest sightseeing elevator. On the observation decks on the 124th floor, you can have a 360-degree view over Dubai.

Palm Jumeirah: Known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," it is a costly artificial archipelago built by the Dubai government in the beautiful Arabian Gulf, and it looks like a palm tree trunk from the sky. In addition to luxurious hotels and resorts, there is also a water park, an aquarium and a dolphin bay on the island.

The Dubai Mall: As the largest shopping center in the world, the Dubai Mall has more than 1,300 shops as well as numerous recreational facilities and restaurants.

There is also an aquarium and a huge VR park, so that both adults and children can enjoy themselves. With 200 restaurants, the mall serves global delicacies.

Dubai Parks and Resorts: How could Dubai live it up without a theme park? There is Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest theme park in the Middle East, which offers both Hollywood thrills and spectacular Bollywood singing and dancing performances.

With more than 100 indoor and outdoor recreational facilities and attractions in Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks, Legoland and Legoland Water Park, Dubai Parks and Resorts is truly a paradise.

Abu Dhabi: luxurious yet understated

Abu Dhabi is the capital of and also the richest city in the UAE. It occupies 94% of the oil in the UAE.

Compared with Dubai's reputation, Abu Dhabi is understated, but it is also "luxurious and exquisite". For example, there is the eight-star Emirates Palace, which is more luxurious than the seven-star Burj Al Arab in Dubai, in addition to other distinctive attractions:

Ferrari World: Situated on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, it is the only Ferrari-branded theme park and also the largest indoor park in the world. Looking down from the sky, the park looks like a UFO, with a huge Ferrari logo on the red ceiling. Inside the park, there are replicas of Ferrari sports cars and racing cars at all stages, and even those of Formula One garages and driving simulators.

There is the fastest roller coaster in the world, which can reach a speed of 240 kilometers per hour in less than five seconds and then climb up to 52 meters in less than five seconds before rolling up and down at a high speed. Let's just say it is a game for the brave...

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: There are a lot of mosques in the UAE, since Islam is a dominant religion there. Among them, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, also known as the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque, is the most famous one.

Known for its luxury, the mosque cost 46 tons of gold alone, and about USD 5.5 billion in total. Inside the mosque, there is the largest carpet and gilded crystal chandelier in the world, making it one of the most luxurious mosques in the world.

Most importantly, in order to enhance the understanding of both Muslims and non-Muslims and to promote Islamic culture, the mosque has been open to all visitors since March 2008, making it the only mosque in the UAE open to the outside world.

Other emirates: showing different characteristics

Other emirates of the UAE are also distinctive. Take, for example, Sharjah, a city famous for Arab culture with more than 20 top museums covering oceans, calligraphy, art, archaeology, and Islamic civilization that take you back more than 6,000 years to the history of Sharjah.

As the northernmost emirate in the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah has a long and beautiful coastline that passes through the unique mangrove landscape of the country, so you can take a photo of both mangrove trees and the coastal scenery.

The unadorned and quiet Ajman, which is the smallest of the seven emirates, also retains rich historical and cultural heritage of the Arab world, and is known as the most convert sunny paradise resort in the UAE.

Over 20 million international tourists

Full of vitality, the UAE is attracting tens of millions of international tourists, with Dubai alone attracting over 15 million international tourists in 2018 according to the report, including hundreds of thousands of Chinese tourists. The stunning UAE not only attracts a large number of Chinese tourists, but is the largest destination of Chinese investment in Arab countries.

Thanks to the flourishing of the UAE and the advancement of the BRI, the trade ties between the UAE and China are closer than ever before, providing a good opportunity to introduce made-in-China products to the UAE. Taking advantage of this opportunity, King Long has expanded the UAE market in recent years, gaining the favor of local customers, and becoming the top 1 bus brand in the UAE and the Gulf region with the largest market share.

No matter in airports, hotels or tourist attractions, you can see King Long buses everywhere in the UAE. When you walk out of the airport, perhaps the first thing you see is not the legendary luxury car, but a King Long bus that comes to pick you up. King Long buses are also available in many scenic spots, such as Dubai Parks and Resorts, to provide exclusive shuttle service for visitors.

King Long buses have also successfully served many important local events, such as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Dubai Airshow, and their international style and high-quality performance have been widely recognized. In the future, there will be more King Long buses serving the transportation in the UAE.

In the UAE, there are countless luxurious attractions to visit and friendly King Long buses to take. So why still hesitate? Just go to the UAE before summer is coming there.
