On December 27th, 62 units of plug-in hybrid city bus “city light” were successfully delivered to Changyun Public Transportation Company in Changshu city. Those gas-electric hybrid buses have been all completed the registration procedures and are scheduled to be officially put into operation after 2022 New Year’s Day, continuing to help Changshu exemplify on “green mobility”.
Changshu, located in the water town of Jiangnan, is one of the most economically powerful county-level cities in China and one of China's national ecological cities. In recent years, Changshu public transport has been deeply practicing the concept of "people-oriented and people foremost", vigorously implementing the priority development strategy of public transport, and the operation scale has reached more than 1500 vehicles!
Those delivered “City Light” hybrid buses are typical efforts of Changshu city to enhance and improve the transportation livelihood for the citizens. With an elegant appearance, comfortable ride, convenient driving and excellent safety and operational capabilities, this model is quite suitable for high-capacity urban mainline and intercity express routes.
Since 2016, Changshu Public Transport Company has continuously purchased vehicles in bulk from King Long. So far, totally 301 King Long buses are serving for the Changshu people.
