300 Units King Long Buses Helped Beijing Host Greener & Hi-tech Winter Olympic Games

On February 4th, as China was celebrating the lunar new year, 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games officially opened at three major competition venues. After successfully serving Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, King Long once again shoulders the transportation tasks for the high-profile event.

According to King Long, over 300 units King Long vehicles have been put into service, including passenger coaches, DIDO autonomous driving logistic vehicles, nucleic acid PCR labs, CT-scanning vehicles, etc. These vehicles provide transportation services, pandemic control services, etc., ensuring greener and hi-tech Winter Olympic Games.

In response to the changing trends in the market, King Long’s autonomous driving bus and medical service vehicles have already earned a solid reputation in the market, fully demonstrating its formidable strengths in the world’s bus manufacturing industry.

By taking full advantage of 5G technology, King Long has been actively involved in promoting the new digital economy. Through its cloud platform and long-distance monitoring system, it is able to better manage its vehicles.

In addition, King Long’s medical service products, covering vaccine transportation, vaccination, nucleic acid testing, transportation of infected cases and CT scanning services. So far, its vehicles for medical services have been widely applied across Fujian province and have also made their way to the medical service network in Hebei and Zhejiang.

In early December, 2021, King Long established a Special After-Sales Service Team for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, fully ensuring the smooth operation of its vehicles at all three major competition venues in Beijing and Zhangjiakou. On the opening day of the games on February 4, the whole team worked around the clock, kickstarting its service at Olympic Games in Beijing for the second time. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, King Long nucleic acid PCR labs have been stationed at various venues to test the emergency cases and suspected cases. In Zhangjiakou, despite the temperature drop ped to -25°C, King Long after-sales team stayed on duty to ensure the smooth operation of all King Long vehicles.
