l On August 5th, Apollon II, an intelligent autonomous driving bus jointly designed, developed and produced by King Long and Baidu was unveiled in Huangpu, Guangzhou Province.
l On December 22nd, the cold chain transport electron beam disinfection equipment, which is jointly developed by King Long and Fujian Normal University, successfully passed the official technical inspection, which is the first set of electron beam disinfection equipment in China for pathogenic microorganisms on the outer packaging surface of cold chain items under working conditions.
Export
Despite the adverse impact of Covid-19, King Long relentlessly made every endeavor on overseas exploration and achieved remarkable export sales.
l In April, more than 1100 units vans were exported to Egypt.
l In April, 166 CNG city buses were exported to Mexico, rendering green mobility service to the local citizens.
l In July, first batch of 45 pure electric buses were exported to Seoul, Korea, boosting the local green transportation.
l On October 29th, the first Chinese coach co-developed by Xiamen King Long and Tunisia's Zuari Group successfully rolled off the Sousse assembly factory.
l On December 7th, 71 units of 7-meter King Long school buses, the first bulk export of this model headed for the United Arab Emirates.
l On December 15th, 415 vans were exported to Bolivia and gained instant recognition from local citizens with stable performance.

Covid-19 Prevention Contribution
In 2021, regular Covid-19 control and prevention measures has become part of our life. With constant technologic innovation, King Long took the lead and shouldered the due responsibility to unveil a series of Covid-19 prevention products.
l On January 7th, in line with national call, King Long developed mobile nucleic acid testing vehicles and delivered them to FUZHOU CDC, a big boost to enhance their nucleic testing capacity and effectively helped the prevention and control of epidemics.
l In August, King Long delivered 10 nucleic acid testing vehicles in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, providing strong protection for the local all-round deployment of epidemic prevention and control work.
l On September 20th, noticing Tong’an District suffered from shortage of medical supplies, King Long quickly responded and urgently allocated 10 negative pressure ambulances to the epidemic-struck area. During the "epidemic" period, King Long service guarantee team of negative pressure vehicles fully cooperated and stood on duty for 24 hours to ensure that those vehicles running smoothly to fulfill its commitment of building a solid wall for epidemic prevention and control. Soon, more mobile nucleic acid sampling vehicle and mobile CT medical vehicle from King Long joined the combat of pandemic control.

l On March 21st, King Long won two awards: “2021 China Commercial Vehicle Excellent Product—King of Tourism Medium Coach” & “ 2021 China Commercial Vehicle Excellent Propaganda—Excellent Innovative Propagation”.
l On September 8th, King Long was selected to enter the list of “Internet of Vehicles Identity Authentication and Security Trust Pilot Project” issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
l In November, the Leading Group for State-owned Enterprise Reform issued the notice on the Results of the Special Assessment of “Science Reform Demonstration Enterprises”, and Kong Long was one of them.
l In November, King Long was listed in the fifth batch of national industry design centers by the Ministry of Industry and Information.
l On December 22nd, jointly developed by King Long Engineering Research Institute and its wholly-owned subsidiary ( Xiamen King Long Electric Control Technology Co.,Ltd), the project “ Research & Application of Distributed Wire-controlled Electric Drive System for Commercial Vehicles” won Grand Prize at the First New Energy Vehicle Technology ( Advanced Electric Drive) Innovation Rally.
