King Long Wins First Prize of Patent Awards

On April 18th, in the conference on intellectual property rights, the result of the first Xiamen patent awards was announced. After the preliminary and final assessments of the committee and publicity, there were three First Prizes, eight Second Prizes and 29 Third Prizes. King Long's patent "Custom Function and Mapping Method of Auto Bus Node" won the first prize.

This achievement, jointly made by Chief Engineer Chen Xiaobing and Senior Engineer Lu Shan, was submitted to SIPO in Dec. 2008 and authorized in August 2010, becoming King Long's first patented invention.

As one of China's largest bus manufacturers, King Long, based on state-level technology center and post-doctoral workstations, made significant achievements in Telematics, automotive electronics and new-energy technologies, etc. In 2011-2012, King Long obtained 18 PC software patents, 12 domestic patents, 8 overseas patents and 12 appearance patents. Two patents of "Auto Speed Control System" and "Intelligent Driving Control system" took the lead in CV industry.
