Since 2000, King Long Bus has started to strive for the opportunity in the overseas market, in particular, European market. Actually, the higher technical standard in European market also is capable of improving the product level of King Long Bus.

In 2005, the first King Long 12-metr tourist coach (XMQ6127) with VCA certificate formally launched the market in U.K. In this April, 172 King Long city buses were shipped for Malta and these buses are tailored to customers’ requirements, equipped with Cummins engines (Euro V), ZF six-shift transmission and WVTA certificate. Concerning the quality guarantee, King Long Bus prolong to 3 years for the drive train systems and the body of these buses.

King Long Bus (Europe) plays an important role in the application of certificate in EU and the relationship with the local dealers, promoting the access of King Long products to Germany, Scandinavia, Italy, France, Malta, U.K. and Ireland.

Located in Coventry, the dealers of King Long Bus have currently owned the tourist coaches covering 8-meter, 9-meter and 12-meter, city buses with 9-meter, 12-meter and will introduce the triaxial bus (length: 13.7-meter; height: 3.7-meter) outfitted with Cummins M engines (400-440 hp), ASTRONIC transmission seats up to 61 and toilet. Also, King Long plans to produce 12-meter school bus (XMQ6127J) with passenger capacity up to 57 people, available for Cummins engines as well as ZF transmission, about to be issued in spring 2012. At present, King Long Bus is handling the orders for over 60 various buses & coaches for the clients in U.K.
