30 King Long Hydrogen Fuel Buses Delivered for Pilot Demonstrative Operation

Create a charming city with green travel and promote the industrial future with high-end technology. On November 10th, Xiamen King Long and Wuhan Xiongtao Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wuhan Xiongtao) officially delivered 30 hydrogen-fueled city buses to Jingshan Public Transportation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jingshan Bus). This is the largest batch of hydrogen fuel vehicles invested in Hubei Province, marking a new leap forward in its green travel journey.

Jingshan, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jingmen City in Hubei Province, is named for the Jingyuan Mountain, which is located in the east of the city. Boasting beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage, Jinshang is known as the "Emerald of Central Hubei" and "Back Garden of Wuhan". The successful delivery of this batch of 30 King Long hydrogen fueled city buses will help Jingshan build its new image of green technology.

Hydrogen fuel power system converts hydrogen to electricity through the principle of electrochemical reaction. The energy conversion process does not involve combustion, no mechanical loss, high energy conversion rate and the only emission is water. It is of great significance to reduce air pollution, improve urban environment and reduce energy consumption.

Those delivery in this batch are the third generation of King Long fuel cell buses, which adopts the high-power fuel cell system of Wuhan Xiongtao. Its maximum mileage can reach 450km under cruising mode and the charging time for hydrogen takes only 10-15 minutes. Compared with the previous pure electric bus, it has better convenience and in line with current national conditions for demonstration and promotion.

The demonstrative operation of these vehicles in Jingshan City marks that Jingshan city has officially entered the commercial demonstration operation list of hydrogen fuel cell buses, which has positive significance for the application of fuel cell vehicle demonstration city group in Hubei Province. Also, it marks Jingshan's strategy of gathering local industrial chain partners and building hydrogen energy industry cluster platform has entered the application stage.

Following national new energy policy and with combined technical advantages from both sides, King Long and Wuhan Xiongtao jointly devote themselves to the research and development of hydrogen fuel buses.
