King Long started to install all its buses with EBS, making a good example in China bus industry.Electrical Braking System (short for EBS) is an advanced braking system, including ABS and ASR, with which braking effect is improved through the optimization and upgrading of braking system.

King Long Bus With EBS

Chief Engineer of King Long CHEN, Qichang said EBS could shorten the braking response time and pressure building time to greatest extent. When the drive pressed the brake pedal, the electrical signal made the system work, reducing 0.2 second over general braking. Furthermore, using EBS may reduce maintenance cost of the buses.

Besides EBS, King Long added ESC to monitor the running condition of the buses in case of rollover. Manager Assistant of King Long Platform Development Department LIU, Liren said with EBS, King Long buses would be much safer and overall operating value would be improved.
